Michael & Walt, too. We never saw Mr. Eko in any of the final episodes, did we?

DM

I think the writers were saying people of African descent are not allowed in Jack's heaven. So not only were the writers lazy, they are racist too turbo naughty smiley

Nah I don't think so or they wouldn't have put Rose and Bernard together, my actual favorite couple of the series.

Was it me, or did Sayid lose most of his "Iraqi" accent in last night's episode?

I am not Ryan Seacrest, and I do not approve this message.

In Jack's heaven all people lose their accents.

Personally, I think the show just got away from them, maybe ran a couple more seasons than it should have, and there was no real way to resolve all the complicated plot twists, symbolism, references to dead philosophers, mysticism, mythology, and everything else they threw in. I think this review sums it up about as good as any:

My theory--nothing at all about purgatory. They borrowed the basic plot of Occurence at Owl Creek. The last six year's were Jack's final thoughts before dying after the crash, a fantasy created out of his own memories. I found everything satisfying except the part where my wife, who hasn't watched the show for four years, came in during the last half an hour and asked questions.

Was one of her questions . . . no, never mind.
