Who's actually going in to work today? If not, what are you planning to do with yourself all day?

One more Graveyard to go. A shift electrician { me } is in the plant at all times, as is a boiler house person. I will get in some GameBoy time.

Nope. Not only do I have to work today, on my birthday, but I'm the "late doc" so I get to be here until 6pm and everyone else gets to go home early. They did this to my last year also. no respect, I tell you.

For some of us who have the day off, dealing with our girlfriends can be considered work.

I took the day off, last 8 hours of vacation time I had left.

I am supposed to be off until January 3rd...paid no less; but there was some terrible blasphemy yesterday about possibly calling all the technicians into work next week to catch up on paperwork. I am tempted not to answer the phone...

2 months of non stop 11 and 12 hour days. I need a break.

Merry Christmas to all you Resourcer's.

Jim

Well, I am "at work." Whether I am actually "working" is another question...

I have it even better than JoeM!

Got off on wednesday, don't have to go back to school till the 4th!

That doesn't mean I want to go back. Unlike all of you, I don't get paid.

At work...I'm the owner/boss/chief maintenance technician. Lots of time to surf the 'net today. Waiting on the substitute mail carrier to see if any customer payments come in before doing the daily bank run. woohoo. Merry Christmas, everyone.

Working till 8:00 P.M. tonight to get that one last planeload of packages off for X-mas!

Then I'm off for the next two weeks for vacation which will include a 4-5 day trip up to San Francisco with the kids.

So what that means is, that I will be spending the day today preparing a list of work (and making sure that all the necesary parts/supplies/equipment are here) for my vacation coverage person so that I won't be completely buried in work when I get back!
