Tuna: Let's talk

[en.wikipedia.org]

I never liked 'canned' tuna. I suspect it is mostly Albacore.

But, I LOVE grilled/prepared Yellowfin Tuna (AKA- Ahi).

So, couple of questions.

Can I get (and should I TRY) canned Ahi? I have never seen it.

Of the other types of tuna in above link, if I like grilled Ahi, which others would I like? (possibly) And, what are their accompanying Hawaiin/menu names (like Ahi)?

If you offer suggestions about sushi, I am not currently open to that. smiling smiley

Been tuna fishing off of Cape Cod. When we caught one we had fresh sashimi within minutes of landing it. The best tuna I've ever had.

Cooked tuna doesn't appeal to me. Something happens with the oil in the meat that I don't like. Raw though, it's the best.

I thought this was going to be a discussion about Bill Parcells.
