ATi Radeon 9600XT 256MB From G5 fit in G4 DA?

I have a chance to buy a multiple item package which includes this card. I really want the other items but want to know if this card is backward compatible with G4 4X AGP machines without some sort of flashing of the ROM?

Requires modification to work - but no flashing.
