Sorry for these late thoughts but I had been out of town, in the middle of nowhere Wyoming camping where there was no net or even a phone signal. I could not go to work yesterday after I found out the news and my eye lids are raw.

I was able to get to know Macgurl from the Dealmac forum and the Hotline chat server set up by Insider in 1999. She helped me through some really dark times, times that still cause me pain to this day. I was able to get through it with some of her help. She was there to supply an upbeat attitude and advice and the darkness did pass.

I was aware she was going through some tough times but I did not know it would lead to her passing. I cannot comprehend the depths of her suffering. I wish I could have helped her. I wish she could realize she would be missed. So many things to wish for.

I hope her family can find some comfort and peace in these times. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose a family member to something like this.

Kathy, I know you are free now of these earthly bounds that held your spirit down. I wish I could have done something, anything for you. God be with you till we meet again.

Very well said. I miss the old Hotline server, some excellent conversations were had on there, and not just on keynote days. Kathy was a regular participant.
