i am a registered WireTap Pro user but just found out it doesn't work on Snow. i don't use this often enough to justify a $30 upgrade. i need to record some audio off a youtube vid. any alternatives for doing this?

Audio hijack...not sure if it's free, though.

There are also various ways to download videos from youtube, and you could then import the resultant file into iMovie, and export only the audio.

Don't give up on Wiretap Pro yet, graylocks. Check this thread: [forums.macresource.com]. It's "fixable".

Thanks, wurm. I knew there was a way, because I'd done it, but forgot. So in case it's not clear, graylocks, download and install another app from them such as WireTap Studio. Doing so will install a universal driver that also works with WireTap Pro 1.3.4. Afterwards you can trash the demo app.

last night was the first time ever in my mac life that i had a kernal panic. kind of freaked me out. i thought i had downloaded a virus or something.
