The oddity of Dell AIO V305 inkjet printer

Three months ago I posted about an issue with this AIO [forums.macresource.com]. Recently, the equipment owner asked her friend who works for Dell tech support to help solve the issue for good. He downloaded the same driver I did with from dell.com. The difference is he created some sort of file attached to the driver, which can be clicked on to re-activate the printer every time it stops working. And that is the solution (?). Keep in mind this printer stops working at least two to three times per month! My question: is that normal for a certain printer? I have owned HP, Lenmark, Espon and Brother. I have never experience such situation. I suspected there was some sort of software conflict.

SoCal for now.

Chuck it. [www.amazon.com]
FWIW - Dell inkjets = Lexmark Inkjets. Lexmark sucks at inkjet printers.
Bad reviews.

Get something else. My FIL PC novice has always had good luck with HP's AIO.
Here are a few under 60. [www.officedepot.com]

It's probably a batch file that stops and restarts the print spooler. Common 'fix' in the industry. It's normal for Winblows.
