I'm going to make a small keynote presentation and want to run it on an iPad... no experience with the program. Am I better off using iWorks and using Keynote to make a presentation and running it on the iPad? (Is there a way to make an run-time player which will work on an iPad?) Or should I buy the Keynote app for the iPad? And make it all on my iPad?

I agree 100% with the macworld article. Keynote for iPad is a beta version of software at best.

Thanks for the advice. The article was informative. As I mentioned in my post, it is a simple presentation, more of a full screen, tap the screen to advance to next image, no controller on screen presentation. There is no need for the higher functions and capabilities, so the app is probably adequate. I am more concerned with weird hardware problems, glitchy screens, etc, which don't seem to be a problem, at least from looking over the reviews or forums. I didn't want to spring for a full iWorks package just for Keynote, when the app would do.
