'Covert Affairs': USA picks up Season 2

....Annie Walker will have more opportunities to prove her mettle.

USA has ordered a second season of the CIA action drama "Covert Affairs," it was announced Thursday, Aug. 19.

It was kind of a no brainer since the freshman series starring Piper Perabo as a green CIA operative has been doing well in the ratings, averaging 5.4 million total viewers.

It's also the No. 1 new series of the year among the 18-49 demo, drawing in an average of 2.52 million.

That's great.

More episodes means there's a chance they'll come up with an original story or use a plot device that hasn't been seen on tv 150 million times already.

...or else they'll just have Piper show off her bra a few more times. That seems to be enough to snag an audience for 3-4 episodes.
