Well who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint? It's chocolate, it's peppermint-- it's *delicious*!

Makes me think of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer is eating Junior Mints...

I sit on a man’s back, choking him and making
him carry me, and yet assure myself and others
that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his
lot by all possible means — except by getting off
his back. - Leo Tolstoy, novelist and Philosopher
(1828-1910)

Hey, those were movie food for one girlfriend. Chocolate minty flavored kisses... hmmm.....I may have to go buy some for the mrs...

As to the politics... didn't one of these morons recommend killing NPR's funding for the Juan Williams case ? I have strong opinions about that idea. NEGATIVE opinions. NPR is a damn good use of taxpayer money. All Things Considered is my key drive time information gathering tool. Every other 'news' station just gives me processed sound bite sentences that are devoid of facts. Coupled with rude Junior HIgh locker room conversation marketed as 'humor'. Ick.

NPR is not reliant on taxpayer money, It would be helpful if you'd not suggest it is. Just tell the truth and stop the slide asides.

Corp for Public Broadcasting gets taxpayer money, and supports NPR. I hear they will now have to have "Some Things Considered" after funding is stopped.

But there are other news outlets that can replace NPR now!

In the afternoon, for example, there's the AM station that repeats the same headlines every 10 minutes with equal time for commercials in between.

Or Sean Hannity.
