Sgt. Peter Damon says Moore recycled old news footage of Damon, and used it in a way that made him seem anti-war.

Who comes up with these figures? (I know, I know: lawyers).

He has found a way to try to make Moore and NBC et al support him in high style for the rest of his days.

I think he has a point and would probably be on his side if he was asking for a realistic amount of money. To most people he was a short insignificant blip across their eyeballs and the fact that they assume this guy they will never even think about again is against the war in no way has any affect, good or bad, upon his life.

If he feels that he should be given restitution because they gave a false impression, fine. But he is going to make more enemies than friends by looking so greedy.

Yeah, that lousy commie Moore was pointing out how our flag wavin' bureaucrats are shafting vets. This guys not going to get a specially designed home from his grateful government and he may very well get the shaft like so many other vets.

If he sues Moore at least he won't wind up eating cat food.

Ah, that's the conundrum! This government, being the Congress, is full of lawyers.
It's like asking the sharks to protect swimmers from the barracudas

...or asking for Congressional term limits!

Probably not possible. He's above every other law, apparently.

Pay him scale for the time he was in the flick.

If he is SAG or AFTRA, then hey, pay him a bit more.

But yeah, time for these nuisance suits to go away for good.

He has bigger problems than Moore and should spend his time accordingly.
