More high tech lynching from the left...?

......if by left, you mean a GOP pollster.

"A veteran Republican pollster and former National Restaurant Association employee said Wednesday morning that Herman Cain sexually harassed a woman at an Arlington, Va., restaurant in the late 1990s.

Chris Wilson, now the principal of an Oklahoma-based GOP consulting firm, said in an interview on Oklahoma City's KTOK radio station that the episode took place in the neighborhood where Cain kept an apartment when he headed the restaurant trade group.

"This occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City (Virginia), and everybody was aware of it," Wilson said on the station. "It was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact she left — everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up."

Not surprising.
The far right wing of the GOP is so unhappy with the prospect of Cain (or for that matter the flop-flipping Romney) running against Obama they are resorting to desperate measures.

I honestly don't think ANY wing of the GOP is happy with Cain. He was doomed from the start.

Something else interesting about all this. Cain claims to be the DC outsider, but now it appears that he spent quite a bit of his career hanging out with GOP operatives and lobbyists. (Pres. of the Rest. Assn. IS a lobbying job.)
The women he is accused of harassing and this guy saying he witnessed it are all still either lobbyists for GOP causes, or party operatives. At least he kept it all in the family.

In an interview with POLITICO, Wilson said he was present for the episode and that it took place in the late '90s.

Wilson declined to say specifically what Cain said or did to the woman, but that the CEO's actions made other individuals at the table uneasy.

"It was very uncomfortable," said the pollster, recalling that other individuals present asked Cain to stop.

Wilson said there were at least three other people at the gathering but wouldn't share the name of the woman for publication.

Why won't Wilson tell us what took place? Or is Wilson a volley ball? This is just a tease. Come on, out with it. What's the rest of the story? What's with "I know, but I won't tell you"?

If you don't stand for something, you'll probably fall for anything.t

He's under no obligation to tell and this is not the time or place. He probably won't tell unless he's forced to in court (or writes a book.)

“Voters look at Herman Cain and say, wait a minute, a pizza guy? Does he have what it takes to run for office?” Mr. Logsdon said. “The fact that he is involved in a sex scandal gives him instant credibility.”

“It makes him seem presidential,” he added.
