Texas judge predicts coming civil war...

"He's going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the (United Nations), and what is going to happen when that happens?," Head asked the station during a Monday interview. "I'm thinking the worst. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. And we're not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we're talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy."

...and uses that to justify support for a tax increase. I think this is an argument against cutbacks in mental health services.

Which he could well avail himself to use.

But then again, we ARE talking about Texas.

At what point do judges get removed because they are no longer fit to serve the public? I know this is in Texas, yet this person is obviously not dealing from a full deck.

First I heard about this. The party and media are keeping quiet about it. No wonder. This would be yet another nail in the republican coffin if republicans were to say anything. The media is smartly not giving play to what's obviously a republican faction off their rockers.

I'm beginning to think that moving to a third world country may make sense.

The German word for contraceptive is “Schwangerschaftsverhütungsmittel”. By the time you finished saying that, it’s too late

Believe it or not, I have heard the "turn the country over to the UN" nonsense before. It's actually a "thing".

Great comment on Facebook:
Half the people here don't even know a bit of the tyrannical history behind the civil war. How it wasn't about slavery. How Abraham Lincoln authorized his Army to burn Southern towns to the ground and rape the women and children. If you all would read you'd be way better off and not nearly as communist.

Meet Judge Head.
Among other duties like marrying people and issuing alcoholic beverage licenses, he also conducts mental competency hearings.

In Texas, the County Judge is the top county executive. He runs all county functions and operations. He is the equivalent of a County Board President or County Executive in other states.

You've obviously not played cards in Texas very much.
