They're likely well informed in the ways that matter, yes.

But what would that have to do with that hack job posted on YouTube?

Oh, sweet irony. If you'd read my response to your thread about this video you wouldn't be (ahem) ill informed.

I would imagine there is an overriding concern among the women about their reproductive rights.

Perhaps it matters less when you're beyond those years.

I know women where both conditions apply and it has zero bearing on their political or socioeconomic views --- they still continue to see the bigger picture and how womens' rights affect more than just themselves.

And it that sense they are no different than a man who respects the same rights. It's a sophisticated recognition that the world isn't "all about me".

Until the Obamacare death panel tells them they can't have the surgery. Or until there are no doctors that will do the surgery. Or there are no hospitals offering facilities to do the surgery. Just sayin'

The hack job is the erroneous implication that students who are Obama supporters are somehow more likely to be ignorant of current events because they support the President's reelection. It's completely plausible that doing similar interviews at a campus Romney campaign event could produce identical results. The fact that the videographer/interviewer chose to film at an Obama event, and edit a video together that shows consistent ignorance among students there, can have no other purpose than to imply fallacious conclusions about the President and his supporters. That's what makes it a hack job.

That's not fair. You can be completely mentally competent and still be terribly, terribly wrong.

The video in the OP wasn't any different, or any more significant, than one of Jay Leno's "Jay Walking" segments.
