Too late. The cat is out of the bag. His power derived from the access he had to the info. Now he has no more access and no more power.

They can just make his life miserable, instead.

Mac1337 there is a fine lime between a rut and a groove me thinks.
You may need a shot of Tequila and some time to chill a little.

I personally speak with people from other countries everyday and the US is
the place they would like to be, visit and or live 90% of the time.

There is a clear reason why you can post here or say what you please in public
anywhere while still having a ton of options in your life. That is not possible in
many places around the world.

The US is not without fault nor is it second to any other country when it comes
to freedom or liberty . . .

So would you recommend less freedom and liberty then? I don't see where you're going with that, other than agreeing with my point.

I am speaking about/towards the negativity you express about boot lickers because
they believe differently or at least have different opinions than you. It feels like you
have your knickers in a twist *(:>*
Mentioned politely . . . negativity won't pull you through <~~ credit Bob Dylan.

Perhaps there could be less drama in your discourse and less assumption that you
are operating from the one clear truth *(:>*

I see, your "proactive security measures" by becoming a totalitarian fascist state, executing any capriciously determined "enemy of the state", at will, without any possibility of due process, is less violent?
Really?
Then, you pull Rogers and Howard's troll card?

Max has the right idea. I advocate a 'hunker-down bunker' policy for Americans. This way we can keep opportunistic liars, ass holes, war-criminals and profiteers at the helm and still achieve total security. Lets get walls around every house, cameras is every room, and a chip up every ass. Privacy should be outlawed as a threat to national security. No expense should be spared in our quest for ultimate security. Which is not only a realistic goal, but a worthy one, sure to lead to a bright future.

Secrecy
Continuity
Surveillance
Safety

These are the are the essential ingredients for a glorious, safe future for you.

Never mind all that talk before the elections. The honey-moon is over toots. Dissent and individualism is the enemy of safety, and must be crushed. But we'll let bootlickers live in peace, unmolested. And your children too, as long as you train them well. That's a promise.

…But see, we're going to continue the propaganda of freedom and all that, because it's just too useful to drop just yet. You just better train those kids well. They will need to be able believe two opposing opinions at the same time. This is no easy feat. Religion can help though. Good luck to them. May they serve the State well, and not cross the wrong person …and not take our 'freedom' propaganda too seriously. Because …we've got some serious @#$%& lined up for anyone who believes that chit. Some serious @#$%&.

If the fascists are successful in snuffing out all dissent because of you vacillating partizan @#$%&, after they wipe out all those with vertebrae, if they offer me a job helping oppress you remaining bootlickers, like the position Snowden left, I will gladly take it. And I will do it with joy.

You are hearing brave men talk about peace and liberty versus a bunch of pencil neck cowards trying to sell you fascism and perpetual war for your children. You should listen to Max and I. There are much worse things than being temporarily wrong in the past. Much worse things. And it's only your normalcy bias which makes you think things cannot change, fast.

You could try thinking for yourself....

Nope, the only thing you have to do is show some coherent conclusions for what you believe, conclusions based on real facts, instead of swallowing some half baked propaganda fed to you by a bunch of nincompoops.
I have friends with totally opposite views, but they can back up their thinking with coherency and facts.
