All the bluster and arm waving ceased, the people of Venezuela are worse off than ever, the Russians (and the Chinese and Cubans) are still playing their hand and every single politician and news outlet in the U.S. has fallen dead silent.

And before you say, 'Well, what's your solution?'. My answer is not to let the issue fall into some ravine and get the responsible parties and populations working on it. These are not headlines in Venezuela, these are real people, millions of them, oppressed, displaced and cast into misery by a creepy autocrat and world which no longer cares.
