Trumps definition of quid pro quo IMO

I think he thinks If no money or physical item crossed palms there was no quid pro quo. His mind is so limited I don’t think he understands when explained to him.

I think his definition is all about "what are you going to do for me", and in return he'll screw you out of whatever you were expecting in return. Just like contractors.

I think someone warned him against quid pro quos, and he internalized it. Problem is, just saying "No quid pro quo" doesn't actually mean there wasn't a quid pro quo.

...cause there pretty clearly was.

Poor guy is just not that bright, honestly.

But Senator Ron Johnson said he asked Trump about it and Trump was adamant, vehement and angry in reacting with denial. I guess if Trump denies something adamantly enough and vehemently enough and angrily enough, then he must be telling the truth. (Works like a charm, just ask Kavanaugh.)
