Yes good speech and very presidential! I couldn't tell if he was reading from a teleprompter. When his talk ended the cameras pulled away -- it seems he was.

Im not excited at all but i hope, deeply, that you're correct.

Biden's speech started off very "low energy" as a certain feckless wannabe king might say. He extended a warm olive branch to those supporting his primary opponent, the non-Democrat backed by Russian operatives. Most importantly, he built up a potent crescendo and culminated in a promise to deliver US unto the America We Ought To Be.

It's too soon to hope in the midst of early onset COVID-19 pandemic panic, but I hope it's the light at the end of the tunnel I'm seeing glimmer and not the rush of an oncoming trainwreck of global misfortunes.
