One thing I've been wondering about when comparing this to 2008 insurance. In 2008 a lot of the losses were insured and that threatened to wipe out the insurance companies too.

Were some of the current losses in some way insured and is there an insurance crisis coming too? The only mention of insurance I've heard recently was the South by Southwest Festival, and that they did not have insurance. Which make me wonder if there was some sort of insurance that they could have had. What about all the other events that have been cancelled for the next few months.

That was fascinating. Who knew that the Bieb could sound so educated.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan
