Agrees that this stunning (to him) ‘news’ is a “game changer”.

TheGuardian.com: Corona Virus news timeline

29 January (2020)

The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) announces it is “aware of very recent cases of novel coronavirus who are, at the time of diagnosis, asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic”.

Literally over two month old news.

So who is in charge of making sure Governors are making decisions based on all the pertinent facts?

They've been told by Pence, directly, not to do stay-at-home orders or "over-react" or shut down their state economies. The thing that is giving Kemp political cover to act is the fact that Florida acted. SC and Mississippi will never do it unless the feds make them and the feds have so said they won't do that. So good luck people in all those states.

Jonathan Allen from abc news:

This admission from Georgia's governor is jaw-dropping. It suggests he reads no newspapers, watches no television, has no advisers and speaks to no officials. Here's his hometown paper warning 40,000 UGA students of asymptomatic transmission a month ago.

Is this a bad time to mention that if Stacey Abrams were Governor now, the response would have been quite different?

This exemplifies the type of malicious, willful ignorance that characterizes many of Trump' biggest supporters. How can voters be so stupid to elect such men as their leaders?

Too many White folks would rather DIE than give "the Blacks" power.

Particularly the racist secretary of state, in charge of elections (and voter suppression). Where's that guy now? Oh yeah - he's the governor.
