Black Georgia jogger shot; shooters not charged.

Not charged yet, at least; now that may change.

The video begins with a man in a white T-shirt jogging down the middle of street toward a pickup. One man is in the bed of the truck and the other is standing near the driver's side door.
As the man in the T-shirt approaches, he goes around the pickup on the right side, and just as he's passing the front of the vehicle, he makes a left and begins tussling with the man with the shotgun.
A shot goes off, and the two disappear off the left side of the screen as the man who was running appears to throw a punch.

Here’s the video. It’s pretty bad.

Before this video came out, two DA’s recused themselves, with one saying the shooting fell within Georgia’s “citizen arrest” laws, and the men were not charged. Now it will go to a grand jury.

This man was hunted and murdered by suspicious White men who were uncomfortable with a Black man running through their neighborhood.

I can hardly wait for the usual suspects to say he would have been fine if he had stopped and talked to the nice white guys yelling and pointing a shotgun at him.

Also, I've already seen that he had a citation for shoplifting as a teen. Obviously a (jogging) thug.

.....he is a former police officer who just retired...........so......blue wall of justice.......he will be protected....


......the 2 DAs recused themselves because of connection to the former police officer........he probably worked many cases with the DAs office.......

Looks like a good bust. The perp attacked the arresting individual and had to be put down. The coastal Georgia grand jury will take five minutes to return a no bill.

I think it's safe to say that the system managed to keep this one quiet until video emerged. It's hardly the first time a Black man being murdered by racists has gone unremarked.
