Could the appointment of Amy Coney Barrett actually lead to more votes for Joe?

Suppose there were many one-issue conservative religious voters, that issue being abortion, and after Barrett is on the court they no longer have a reason to rationalize support for tRump?

They need to wait for a case that will give them the opportunity to actually vacate Roe v. Wade.
Then they need to "protect" it in perpetuity, especially now that SCOTUS no longer recognizes precedent.
It will be generating votes and donations for the Right forever.

The Republicans have played the anti-abortionists as suckers for years.

If Barrett is jammed through, the dog has caught the car; the GOP is either going to have to explain to those suckers why a 6-3 majority still isn’t enough to overturn Roe v Wade, or face the wrath of the vast majority of Americans who don’t want it overturned by a 3-1 margin.

By definition, the "one-issue conservative religious voters" have no other metric by which they measure 45's suitability to remain president, and on this one issue he satisfied their wish. They do not "rationalize" anything, but rather only see if their views are reflected in 45's action on this issue.

They will REWARD him by voting for him.

A recent poll suggested that regarding SCOTUS, Democrats consider Biden’s election more important than Republicans consider Trump’s election. So I’m not so sure they’ll “thank” him after they use him up.

Nobody is changing their decisions now except for the 5% who never made a decision and are planning to vote. Those 5% won’t watch the debates but will pay attention to clips from those (3) debates. They don’t care who sits on the SCOTUS.
