They don’t end “too well” because no one tells him to @#$%& off, John. It’s a bit late on life to grow a pair, so I guess his plan is the same as everyone else who calls themself a conservative: waiting it out.

Remind them (okay teach them) about President Grover Cleveland. He served two non-consecutive terms. So they can just tell the base that Trump will be back in 4 years if they support the GOP.

Sorry, but as a Republican who supported and enabled OD for the last 3.5 years, he doesn't get to walk away from the plank, or desert the sinking ship, or whichever metaphor you want to use. ALL of them need to go.
