Republican lies in campaign ads

It's not just me and my bias, right? I notice a distinct difference between campaign ads for Republicans and Democrats. I don't see ads for Democratic candidates with obvious lies, but lots of ads for Republicans involve straight-up lying.

A couple examples: there is a Senate race in Michigan where the Republican said the Democratic incumbent missed 88% of votes and/or committee hearings. Absolutely and demonstrably false. The Democrat has a stellar attendance record.

Trump ads. I shouldn't have to add any details about Trump ads; we know he lies and his ads do too. wink smiley One example shows Joe Biden saying three different times that he's going to "raise taxes" but cuts off the part where he says on those making more than $400K. But the lying pro-Trump ads are not limited to Trump himself, but also include the PACs. One says Joe Biden will abolish private insurance, close hospitals and you may lose your doctor.

Anyway, it's not just me, right?

No, not just you. It starts with the top, Trump/Pence, and floats on down.

Trump is telling absurd lies at his rallies, much worse than 2016. People who believe this stuff have lost their grip on reality, it's disturbing.

The lies and distortions in Lindsey Graham's ads (print and TV) are horrible.

can't wait for this to be over.

Republican attack ads here about Democrat opponents for all state and federal races have been limited to a single word, "SOCIALIZM!!!1!"

Around here, it’s mostly two things - all Democratic candidates support antifa and the radical left...or the old tried-and-true, all Democrats will increase your taxes (if you happen to be making over $400k a year).

Yep, see lots of them. My district is safe D, Joaquin Castro, Julian's twin brother. But just to the west - Republican Will Hurd is retiring after two terms, he beat a Hispanic Dem. The Replicicans are attacking Dem Gina Ortiz-Jones, a former Air Force Intelligence officer (I think she might be gay) by associating her with "San Francisco Liberals" and her patriotism.

Just to my north, Wendy Davis is running again Chip Roy, who is denying his voting record by saying he will protect coverage with "preexisting conditions"

I think Biden has a pretty good chance of Taking Texas, but if he had chosen a hispanic for VP, it would have helped.

Wounded War Vet MJ Hagar is calling John Cornyn a puppet for Mitch McConnell....those are pretty good
