By 917 votes from a heavily Democratic county (Clayton). Looking good!

That'll be a while. Plus we need to add to that total as much as possible. Ahhhhhhh.

I think they will make the call for Biden before Friday evening when Nevada releases more results.

I think now 45 will want every remaining vote counted (and re-counted), hoping to find more for him. Same with AZ, and then PA once it crosses to Biden.

This is great news, lets hope the same turnout will occur for the January dual senate runoffs.

Perdue still under 50%, if that holds then two GA Senate runoffs which could tie the Senate!! Do I understand that correctly? Kamala Harris would get tie breaker votes in that case...

Not going to happen.

Everyone take five minutes and listen to Ray Charles sing "Georgia on my Mind"

For three minutes you might also consider The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia, or for an even shorter time investment whistle along to Sweet Georgia Brown

Not going to happen.

Probably.

But how many people won't bother to vote if there's no orange on the ballot?

I think that will be the key.
Who will get the vote out the most?
Pity us having to live through the onslaught of ads over the next few weeks.

Just turn off the commercial TV now. It's going to be terrible until the runoff elections are done. But the stakes are HIGH! 'Georgia on my mind' is going to be Biden's transition song...

I think I need to clarify what I posted earlier...

Perdue still under 50%, if that holds then two GA Senate runoffs which could tie representation in the Senate between D and R!! Do I understand that correctly?

If the Senate becomes tied, then Kamala Harris would get tie breaker votes in the Senate under that scenario. Thus, in essence, a Dem majority in the Senate?

I learned that the VP does not break EVERY tie in the Senate. Need to learn more if / when we get to a 50/50 split.

Thank you Graylocks! Your vote was in that batch!

Actually my son's vote was in that batch as he voted absentee! I saw this thread first thing in the morning and it was my first notice that Clayton County brought it home. Been smiling all day.
