...and with it Murdoch buries Trump.

Mr. Trump’s legacy will be diminished greatly if his final act is a bitter refusal to accept a legitimate defeat.

New York Post quickly followed suit.

At this point, it's clear that Dumbf must be given enough rope to complete the job that this election started. Let him whine, rail, refuse to leave, refuse to acknowledge his defeat, trot out his deplorable children and minions to defend him, make up new, nasty names for Biden and Harris, and generally continue to show us just exactly what he is … Once he's tossed onto the scrapheap of history, incapable of being reused, reduced, or recycled, he'll be just that … The trash he has always been.

Don’t care about Murdoch’s publishing empire. He’s a user and an opportunist. He is not nor has he ever been “for” or “against” anyone. His papers will shift with the winds.

It's probably going to take the weight of a lot of different influential forces telling Trump its over before he might come to believe that he doesn't have a choice about leaving (only choices on how to go about the process of leaving). I'm glad to hear these two papers influential in some conservative circles are telling him it's time to leave.

Actually, I think Trump’s “legacy” would be perfectly served by him continuing to try to bend reality to his will, sell snake oil and conspiracy theories to his deluded base, and blame anyone but himself for his failures.

Trump himself may be politically finished but his followers are no where near done. The next preacher of intolerance is out there and will learn from and be smarter than Trump.

This is not a passing phenomena of our political system, it's now in embed.
