So where do the armed terrorists who are going to make amends for the "stolen election" go to carry out their mission? Who do they shoot with their military grade second amendment rights weapons? Do they just go kill any Democrat they know or do they just go after Democratic legislators and governors? Judges maybe? I cannot imagine what action they think they can take.

One way they might look at it is to focus on the 5 states that flipped from the way they voted in 2016, that would be AZ, MI, PA, WI, and GA.

Then maybe identify the counties that flipped in each of those states. That should narrow down where those traitors are. But then they'll have to admit that the votes were counted correctly for those voters to be responsible, which can't possibly be the truth.

Delusional is the real deal with this knot of knuckleheads. But this level of mental depravity seems unusual.

Maybe there IS something going on out there… It's exactly what QAnon should be looking at, but they're too busy drinking Kool-aid.

We can try not demonizing them, no matter how much they demonize us.

The goal is to keep working, keep moving forward, rebuild the machinery of state, and offer those people a place in an America based on science, facts, good journalism, and increasing equality for those denied it.

Engaging this kind of lunacy is risky - there's always a chance of getting pulled into a fight where the terms aren't factual or fair, but designed to undermine the opponent's humanity.

What makes us right is that we don't have to do that to succeed. What makes us better is that we choose not to.

I see lots of people on social media that are delusional and would be inclined to believe what a con man tells them for the simple reason that they need to believe in something, anything really. Religion only gets you so far in the temporal world.

A Fairness Doctrine type law would mandate that any political view in the media has to be countered by the opposite political view. This, of course, would cause Fox, NewsMax, OAN and MSNBC to fold, or make them all quite similar. So no matter what station one turns on, all viewpoints would be represented and people wouldn't be stuck in their political-social bubbles anymore.

Absolutely right.

A couple of former Australian Prime Ministers representing both sides of their political framework have come to that same conclusion. Aussie news is totally dominated by Murdoch owned or controlled media and so they've come together to find ways to break it up.

Murdoch had the same poisonous effect in the UK and we've all see the impact of his sort of media here.

Three different governments working under their own set of rules all wrestling with the same sort of divisiveness that he sows everywhere he goes. He's 89 now so he's no longer the immediate problem, it's the institutions he'll be leaving behind that need to be dealt with is some fashion.

Actually, Fox and MSNBC would be able to manage pretty easily. They regularly have representatives from the 'other side' on their panel programs, and it's unlikely that shows like Hannity would be required to observe any kind of balance, provided that the network also covers the same issues in a more balanced format.

We have developed a very idealized view of the Fairness Doctrine in hindsight, but in practical terms a renewed doctrine would have a far greater effect on radio than television. Almost all major television networks provide some balance in the views presented on controversial issues of public concern. The doctrine never required parity, or balanced coverage, nor did it require that broadcasters include opposing viewpoints in the same program, or in consecutive programs.

We'd likely end up with a two-hour weekly show on OAN called "Snowflakes Strike Back," broadcast from 2:45-4:45 AM Mondays, hosted by a couple old lefties who spend the time countering the right-wing venom that spouts the other 166 hours/week.

Does that sound like a solution? Not to me.
