TULSI on foxnews

I flipped channels and she's talking on foxnews with Tucker. I think she was on fox a few weeks ago, can't really recall if on Turcker or Hannity. She is a democrat. Surprised she is on Fox so often.

She is an odd duck. Unlike Mayor Pete who does the Faux thing as his 'going into the Lion's den' gig, she seems to like the right wing press.

She definitely had some odd aspects of her Presidential campaign, too.

She's creepy.

I have to agree, I think Hillary was right about her.

When you think about it, almost anyone who rises to that level in US politics is creepy.

DINO. Or is she an independent now?

Talsi worries me, I can see her going to the GOP and flipping the senate in exchange for a ton of favorites.

She’s not in office, so are you proposing she’d do that after earning a senate seat as a Dem? Hawaii is perhaps the bluest blue state. Hard to imagine she could stay in office as a GOP.

A lot of what she says makes a lot of sense, and I can really get behind it...like getting us out of endless wars, releasing classified 9/11 files especially as they relate to Saudi Arabia's involvement (and ending aid to extremely rich SA), taking care of all Americans and not just the rich (economic equality/living wage, etc), getting money out of politics, getting healthcare for all Americans...she even espouses an M4A option, with the intent to keep private health ins intact so you're not forced onto M4A if you don't like it.

These ideas are entirely sensible imo. I think she ran into a brick wall with them due to the DNC actively plotting against her b/c she threatens and calls out the corrupt power structure and their gravy train from Wall Street, corporations, Defense lobbyists, etc.

The msm truly has not given her a fair shake for the same reasons. It happens again and again. They take her message, selectively twist it and make her look crazy/creepy and/or diminish her. The woman was a medic in Afghanistan, she has seen needless war up close. I think she deserves a chance to be heard.

I think she speaks with the right to get these good ideas out there in conversation. Party labels should not matter when it comes to what's good for the nation's people, healing, etc.

Other things she does have me puzzled, like why she didn't vote for or against impeachment (IIRC). EDIT: That link explains why.

She does have a past where she was anti-LGBTQ...but has disowned that. We all evolve, I'd sure hope.

Yang also has different ideas than party hack pols, and faces similar hit jobs by the powers that be attempting to derail him instead of giving his ideas a genuine discussion. Can't have the "regular people" thinking there may be a better way; the Haves may not get the entire pie if that happens.

Tulsi was DNC co-chair for years prior to HC 2016 election. There is no way you can call her anything but certified DNC establishment.

Her answer on impeachment was lukewarm then, and it's 100% colder to me now. Seemed like her own version of the Susan Collins line of thinking.

And as far as I can tell, this issue that the Russian propaganda picked her is true. The why is a mystery - and HC might be wrong about her being a 'Russian asset'. But it was strange then, and it's still a loose end in my books.
