The report I heard said it was written on the algae on the animal's skin, not actually carved into it. If so it might have been a misguided joke by someone about the similarities between the creature and Trump.

That is my neck of the woods, the blue waters is less than 10 miles away. I have been there many times and photographed manatees with National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore there in the past.

Even in this Trump citadel of stupidity, that area of the county is at a whole different level of insanity. Just around the corner from the Blue Waters is a restaurant that requires (do it or be refused service and leave) people to sing God Bless America and praise Trump.
