Why are they still voting on this resolution?

pence already sent a letter saying no way. Why are they wasting time voting on a resolution where pence already said NO. There are plenty of other things to do, including impeachment.

IDK but maybe once it has started, they have to follow through to the end. I think the voting process is altered for Covid and takes a much longer time to complete.

Last ditch effort to allow pence to avoid the House's impeachment of his squadron leader.

They're showing little p they're serious.

It’s nice to know where the representatives stand on this issue. Speaker Pelosi can walk and chew gum at the same time. She’ll get the impeachment done if anyone can but it just may take a little time to round up the votes.

Maybe it's a formality for the record.

They're legislators. Every action has to be codified. A hundred years from now the record exists.

Why not talk about...which members of congress were giving tours to "protestors"? How did rioters get maps to the building? What should they do with Lauren Boebert? Which members of the CP are insiders?

And of course just getting on with impeachment and bringing the Senate back early.

Just like the impeachment vote where she knows MoscowMitch won't even convene the Senate for a vote, it puts them on record. She offered them an out but a Trumpista from WV objected - so now the roll call and their feet to the fire.
