Trump has instructed aides not to pay Giuliani’s legal fees, two officials said, and has demanded that he personally approve any reimbursements for the expenses Giuliani incurred while traveling on the president’s behalf to challenge election results in key states. They said Trump has privately expressed concern with some of Giuliani’s moves and did not appreciate a demand from Giuliani for $20,000 a day in fees for his work attempting to overturn the election.

Rudy might wind up being housed and fed by the government. And given the billing issue, a pardon seems less likely.

And state and local governments - remember when WI required payment upfront before recounting a single vote? My home town in MN required the same before a proposed rally. Suddenly, the rally went from 50,000 people to under 500 when they were required to pay upfront for the extra security THEY requested.

Rudy promising 45 he could use legal maneuvers to overturn the election, and trump believing it, has got to be one of the weirder chapters in our history. Thank God it's over in 6 days. Both those old Yankees need to be in prison.

Rudy is such a confused idiot that I wonder if his testimony would be considered reliable. But maybe it would generate leads to more reliable witnesses whose statements could be used to convict Trump.
