On YouTube/PBS News Hour but of course available anywhere.

It’s been a long time coming.

I’m really enjoying this.

Looks cold and windy. Everyone too vain to wear hats. I'd spend the next day with a wicked earache after sitting in that.

Gaga did great, serving the song. I’m less impressed with J. Lo, who is neither in the same league as a singer and the arrangements are bit dramatic for my taste. Overall fine however.

Brooks is another without a great voice, but I won’t quibble with his earnings from it. Another good performance today.

The president of American Carnage is over.

Lower p left on purpose.

May we leave all that behind and heal our great nation.

Did they hire Dennis Hastert to wipe down the podium after each speaker? ‘Cause that would be surreal.

I was wondering who the wiper in chief was.

Side note: I’m mildly annoyed that our nation’s most practical means of transporting our highest elected officials look like hearses or work SUVs.

That's funny - my opinion was the opposite. I thought Gaga's performance was a bit showy and JLo's was on point.

Yeah, if I have to concern myself with who did the best performance at Biden's inauguration, I can live with that, and I might go with the young poet. From the pure voice standpoint, I judge Gaga as the best pure voice, and the other two did just fine.

PS: I wonder how much money was raised and spent on this inaugural, and how it compares with the previous. Aren't there a couple of criminal charges due on that one any day now? Isn't that why there was some interest in pardoning the formerly first daughter?

I was bummed as I was working and when I remembered to put it on, it was about 11:52. I just caught "...the Constitution of the United States. So help me God."

I wonder if they started a little early just to throw off any potential nefarious plans.
