Trump repeatedly attacked Brian Kemp for not working to overturn the election results for him, called for his resignation and even gave a speech in Georgia saying he'd campaign against him, but here's Kemp just now on Fox News saying he'd support Trump in 2024 anyway

These bootlickers are an embarrassment to every true American.

It is simply being pragmatic. Kemp knows he has no road to reelection if Trump opposes him. He will either lose a primary challenge from a Trump candidate or lose the general if the Trump base then stays home in protest of him defeating their candidate.

This will be the case in Republican contests through the nation in 2022 and most likely 2024.

There is something very deeply wrong with politics in this country. I believe it has to do with accumulating effects of September 11th, Bush's badly run wars, the economy collapse and now the dual calamities of Covid and the insane trump.

...and for some reason the rapid rise of long-held racism.

Well the racists #1 candidate was defeated. Within 2 years Democrats took the House, The Senate and the Presidency. In just a month Biden has accomplished more than Trump has his entire presidency. You want to know how to deal with bad candidates? Defeat them.
