Trump casts shade on WSJ...and the Journal claps back

Kind of an interesting read in The Hill:

Quote

The piece came hours after Trump bashed the outlet for calling on Republicans to abandon him and blamed his GOP critics for the party’s Georgia Senate losses.

Not my fault. I take no responsibility for losing the House, Senate and Presidency says the orange loser. It was those darn RINOs like the WSJ (!) that stabbed us in the back.

Quote

“Fortunately, nobody cares much about The Wall Street Journal editorial anymore. They have lost great credibility.”[said Trump].

The editorial board, however, quipped back: “For someone who says we don’t matter, he sure spends a lot of time reading and responding to us. Thanks for the attention.”

“What really seems to rankle the most famous resident of Mar-a-Lago... [is] that we recognize the reality that Mr. Trump is the main reason Republicans lost two Georgia Senate races in January and thus the Senate majority. Mr. Trump refuses to take responsibility for those defeats, contrary to all evidence.

... Losing...by 7.1 million votes as an incumbent President, must be painful. Counseling could be in order. Any good analyst will explain that the first step toward recovery is to accept reality.

Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen.

In the statement, Trump again insisted without evidence that the election was “rigged” and described how on “Election Evening, Nov. 3rd, at 10:30 p.m., Rove called to congratulate me on a ‘great win.’

...and that sank his chances?

Like, it jinxed Trump or something?

Rove now claims that call never happened so now you have a choice of which inveterate liar to believe. Based on volume alone I'd guess it would be Rove who is slightly more credible.

+1 on that.
Pretty much no one has less credibility, than T****, in my book.
