Concept (pepper box) originated in the 1500's, but were mostly popular prior to the Civil War. Multiple barrels (3-24) ranging from .22 to .45 caliber.

Checked out several reviews as well as the manufacturers info.
Requires using 2 fingers (index & middle) to deactivate safety.

Trigger pull is ~23 pounds.
For perspective, most Sig Sauer double action/single action pistols are ~10-12 pounds/ 4-5 pounds and double action only pistols have a trigger pull of ~7-8 pounds.
Glocks have a trigger pull of ~5.8 pounds.
