Might as well start pulling up your sleeve. Israel pretty much showed the world how it was done in the first round. If they are giving third shots now, it should only be a few weeks before we start doing it here too.

I'll do it. Only a sore arm for 1 and 2. Slightly more sore for #2. Here's hoping #3 doesn't ramp up its reaction.

I'll be curious to see if, by the time this advising comes out here, they also have done enough research on those (like me) who've gotten two different vaccines ... if this is more effective or advantageous than simply getting a booster of the same shot. My personal opinion is that it will be -- because you're combining different strategies and possibly even different targets, rather than using the same one over.

Good question ... my understanding is that Pfizer has already tweaked for Delta, but we'll see.

Around here in GA there's lots of places that have signs saying to just walk in without an appointment for a COVID vaccine. Our health center hasn't required appointments for quite some time. We went to get the lot number for our first vaccine added to our vaccination cards in June and the place had very few people in the vaccine area.

Yeah, same here, but the boosters will be for people who already have had their initial vaccinations and will most likely WANT to stay as protected as possible, so I suspect there would be more demand.
It will be interesting to see if it is recommended to get the same as before or another brand.
