In fairness many of those areas shown are very small cities or counties. Some where a single case can change the infection rate by several percentage points. Number 2 Hamilton county has less than 15,000 residents, so that equates to less than 10 cases. The third one, Baker county is about 25 cases.

It's bad here - but just remember that stats can be made to say about anything.

In a few weeks the FDA will re-awaken and you'll see more mandates begin to flow. Republicans are doing their best to fight over other needless issues and likely won't have a problem doing so.

It was not all that long ago Missouri was the hotbed. They must have gotten over the hump. Florida will, too, shortly.

It was not all that long ago Missouri was the hotbed. They must have gotten over the hump. Florida will, too, shortly.

I dunno. The covid19 projections website is showing a peak NEXT week, and of course depending on what happens then, it could even go higher ... [covid19.healthdata.org]

Nebraska wasn't showing up as a state with a high rate infections, but all the local news stations had stories about full ICU's. Few of the state statistics can be trusted. It's so bad that I don't know if the excess death rate will be valid.
