Texas hypocrisy - what happened to the right to choose?

Just saw this. What was all that crap about protecting your right to make your own decision on vaccines and masks?

Oh, right, they didn't really mean that you could choose to wear a mask.

Family kicked out of restaurant for wearing masks to protect their immuno-compromised son

Read that yesterday and my first thought was what a jackass of an owner, a later interview with him confirmed it. Second thought was what are they are they doing in a sports bar/restaurant with an immuno-compromised child. Picture looked like maybe a two year old.

I don't think that photo was from the bar since in the article they mentioned being able to get away from the kid for a few hours a month and not wanting to bring anything home.

That makes a bit more sense, I must have misread the original story. Owner remains a jackass.

I concur.

Wearing a mask violates the owner's dress code?!

And how much time would be spent with the couple wear masks at a restaurant?

I seriously doubt he'd have made an exception had he known of their immuno-compromised child.

I feel the overall reaction with masks is ridiculous in the United States right now

I have spent my money on the business, my blood sweat and tears in this business, and I don’t want masks in here”

A way to exercise power and authority for people who feel their white privilege sliding away.

From the obviously doctored--brilliantly so--Yelp review: smiley-laughing001

Q:
Can I catch other communicable diseases there, or is this just a COVID dive?

A:
The premise of your question is ridiculous. Obviously we do not discriminate against the carriers of any plagues or STI's. That isn't the kind of discrimination that we practice at Hang Time. LOL we'd have to fire literally all of our kitchen staff AND management if we decided to take a stand against just Hepatitis OR @#$%&. We at Hang Time believe that if the good Lord wanted the person preparing your food to wash his hands after using the bathroom, he would have put a sink in our crotch.

Q:
Does the salad bar have a sneeze guard, or can we just go face first into it like decent god fearing people?

A:
The owner doesn't believe sneeze guards work. Tom says sneeze guards are like trying to stop mosquitoes with a chain link fence.

Q:
Do I have to show my unvaccinated card If I want to eat here?
Asked by James Scott C.

A:
If you can prove that you're not vaxxed, then you get the ivermectin upgrades to your food and drinks for free.

That meme image matches what we were told last year: If you don't feel safe, just stay home! (But don't shut down my business!)
