My Oh My. They sure did put on an entertaining spectacle today.

One of them even cried because she couldn't vote the way she wanted to.

Not to worry, their woke position will soon become mainstream...

AOC broke into tears when she withdrew her no vote and voted present on the spending bill that gave Israel 1Bin US coin to rebuild their sky defense.

Pretty sure the options are Yes, No or Abstain. What did she actually want, to vote for hugs instead? Is "Present" Abstaining but proving she was there for the vote?

Maybe because of things like this?

from AP News:

Israel’s mass incarceration of Palestinians has come into the spotlight after six men tunneled to freedom earlier this month, briefly escaping a military justice system that has imprisoned thousands over an occupation now into its sixth decade.

Newsflash. Humans are @#$%& when in groups. Especially if their beliefs aren't aligned with yours.

If those 2 groups just left each other alone, and lived their lives where they are, the world would be a better place. But that isn't going to happen.

If Israel did not have Iron Dome to protect their citizens, they would have to counter the Hamas missile barrages by other means.
And Hamas is all ready for it by using their subjects as human shields. Great political points...not so much any corpses they may eagerly display.

Iron Dome missiles save lives on both sides.

The people who voted against it have histories of sponsoring anti-Israel efforts in the past.

Occupying force in a state of constant war with populace in occupied territory...

Gee... didn't we just leave such a situation ?
(cough... Afghanistan ! ... cough)

And didn't the Iranians et al help make that situation untenable so we would leave ?

Such parallels !

In adjacent news, Hamas refuses to participate in local 'Palestinian' elections. This is second time within a year that either Hamas or the PA have found an excuse to cancel any sort of democratic elections.

Israel holds all-too-frequent elections with an Arab party in the present ruling coalition.

Mahmoud Abbas is now in the 17th year of his four year presidency.
