Pfizer. October 2 will be eight months since my second dose. It’s time. Booked it at Publix at the end of the day, 8pm. so they were not be so busy. Unfortunately the store was packed. Mask compliance at about 30%. Not surprising why delta is so huge. A few people near me coughed. Lots of elderly people not wearing masks. I haven’t been in Publix in about six weeks. Kind of jarring.

Pharmacist asked if I was immune compromised. I told him no I am a healthcare worker and offered to show my license. He said he believed me I didn’t need to show it but I did anyway. They took about five minutes to do some paperwork. I got the shot and he did not make me wait the 15 minutes. I grabbed a few necessary items and get out of the store, pronto.

I feel fine. I’m sure I will have some site pain tomorrow. That was all I had with the first two jabs. I feel better about getting it. Just wish I had gotten Moderna in the beginning but there was no way to predict how well it does with variants. Maybe I’ll be more protected against whatever new variant crops up. Who knows. They are both very close in effectiveness.

Yes, people in line waiting for the pharmacy. Even one of the techs was masking to the chin. As I said, only about 30% of people shopping in the store, a large grocery store, or mast. People here in Florida act like Covid is over and you are the crazy one for wearing a mask

Hope your side effects go quickly. My mom had 24 hours of chills and fatigue. Much stronger than shot 2.

Minor arm pain. No other symptoms and I’ve been very active all day. I’m 41, if that matters.

I'm also in Florida, and got the Pfizer booster yesterday (Friday). An independent pharmacy next to my office has all the vaccines now, and I was able to cross the street at my convenience and get jabbed by a youngish Pharm.D. with the same name as the business (it's been in the family for a long time). Plus he gave me a $25 gift certificate to their store (a program sponsored by the county). So all in all a pleasant experience, compared to the lines and appointments of last February & March. However, I'm very grateful for all the vaccines I've gotten!

Not feeling energetic today but also not feeling so awful as after the 2nd shot. Took an ibuprofen last night and think it made a big difference. For some reason I waited much longer to take something after the second dose and felt truly ill for about 24 hours.

Very sore arm, though. And I'm nowhere near 41...

Got my third shot the day after 65+ eligibility was announced. The lady at the Kroger Little Clinic had not yet heard that over 65 was a qualifying condition. Her colleagues confirmed as much and shots were administered right away.

Arms were more sore than the first two shots (Pfizer) but that went away in about 2 days.

Shortly after getting it I was with friends who later discovered that they were positive, even having received their two doses months ago. Had some concern but a rapid test came back negative. I am feeling confident, but still wear a mask in stores and the "scare" with Carl confirms the need to watch distancing.

Just got my booster this afternoon. Man, my arm HURTS (even after 2 Tylenols)! It may be so bad because I got a flu shot at the same time in the same arm. It could also be that my arm is still a bit bruised up from shoulder surgery two weeks ago.

Dave, was that Pfizer or Moderna? I got a 3rd M. Two weeks ago and yesterday when my wife was well enough for the third she was denied at both CVS & Rite Aid. Both claimed the rules had yet again changed.
