Seriously, he was impeached twice, he got away with everything so far. He is trying really hard to hide his taxes and his involvement in the Jan 6th insurrection, and so far nothing happened. He got away with the Mueller investigation.

While the asshat may not get justice in the traditional sense (jail) I fully believe that karma can and will chew his Cheeto ass painfully off at some point and those of his butt kissing enablers. They're trying (I hope) to build a case to prove the connection to Jan.6 via some testimony or other proof that he wanted to stop vote certification. We have fairly clear Constitutional language that says that's a bad thing for a president to do or try to do.

Personally, the trove of his comments about Pence alone would work for me, but "common sense" isn't enough to compel many Republicans to convict him of anything.

If they prove he talked the bat-guano crowd into attacking the Capitol, that's only to prove the bigger point Trump actively thwarted democracy by going against the established process.

NY charges are most likely. No charges will come out of Congress as long as McConnell and Graham are in office.

I am hoping Fulton County, here in GA, will eventually cough up some charges, but FC has a long history of not getting the job done in matters like this, so it’s doubtful, but I also didn’t think GA would go blue and tip the senate, so I guess I still have some small amount of hope.

Well, people need to be prepared in case the Manhattan or Fulton County DA's criminally indict Trump. That means he will be arrested. That means a moment behind bars. That doesn't mean he can't beat all of that.

But, if that DOES happen, his supporters won't like it and they may take it out on everybody.

There's no point in making a hasty charge for the sake of making a charge to satisfy the mob's bloodlust. Trump is well-lawyered and knows how to fight. Trump isn't unarrestable.
