Thanks Joe!
I can't even imagine the horror show we'd be in if trump had been re-elected

I am so very thankful for that. More than you can ever know.

That is a great photo on so many levels, when you think about it. It's not just that they're doing something philanthropic and volunteering on a holiday, but you notice the fact that they're all masked, that Joe is getting help from the gentleman to his left, that Doug is just working away, that Jill and Kamala are so very obviously cordial and collegial with one another, and MOST importantly -- you notice a unity, civility, humility, and lack of chaos.

Truly, something to be thankful for.

That's a great observation.

Public servants, not wannabe dictators.

“Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." - Eli Weisel

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"I don’t want to see religious bigotry in any form. It would disturb me if there was a wedding between the religious fundamentalists and the political right. The hard right has no interest in religion except to manipulate it." - Billy Graham 1981

"Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise" - Barry Goldwater

smiley-signs154Thanks for posting the photo, and a happy Thanksgiving to all!

However, when I looked up similar images, the first one that popped up was from the NY Post, with the line, "Biden gives Harris cold shoulder at DC soup kitchen..." RollingEyesSmiley5

Truly terrible reporting and eye of the beholder -- I see exactly the opposite of what they're saying. The only reason Joe's shoulder is turned away is because he's helping/receiving help/conferring with the guy to his left, and his wife is chatting with Kamala. I myself find it rude when someone is very obviously talking to someone else, that you try to speak with them... so Joe is actually being quite respectful here.

Forget it Jake, it's the NYP not the NYT.

Some intern spent hours of their Thanksgiving Day sorting through a couple gigabytes of images to find the one that looked like something spinnable, and that's the best they could do.
