Vaccinated, cured or dead

Germany's Health Minister commented as neighboring Austria went back into lockdown.

Probably by the end of the winter, more or less everyone in Germany will be vaccinated, cured or dead,” the health minister, Jens Spahn, said. “That sounds cynical, but that is the reality.”

I thought that was interesting too. I guess Germany has relatively low vaccination rates (probably still higher than ours). Pretty candid though, which I like.

"Cured" isn't the right word and it doesn't mean you can't be reinfected.

I saw that the other day.
I think I saw “vaccinated, recovered or dead” which I think is better than “cured,” but same idea.
Harsh but true.
Germans are not known for sugar coating their assessment of things.

I saw it reported as 'recovered' as well. The guardian seems to be going hard for the lefty clicks in their reporting these days.
