Thanks for what you do, you and all the other healthcare workers. I have several friends and neighbors working on covid wards and ER, and it is pretty bad here. Consolation is less death.

I got my Pfizer booster yesterday,noonish, scrabbled to the grocery store, monthly errands, and my back started hurting. I could not wait to lie down. The typical arm swelling and soreness, ensued. But I have been nauseous, this time, and lying around all day. Not too bad, and I hope it keeps me out of the hospital or doctor’s office.

Not all heroes wear capes. Many wear scrubs and masks!

I just don’t understand why people can do the basics. Vaccinations and masks aren’t a big deal.

My other half is one of TWO day shift RNs left working the ER. Everyone else is sick. I strongly believe that if we could show the public some kind of de-personalized images/data/stories from that ICU, it would motivate people. See this 40 year old previously healthy person on ECMO? It could be you.
