That is basically the value judgment Democratic senators like Manchin and Sinema are making - despite any rationalizations to the contrary.

She’s good with hoping for democracy while doing nothing to ensure it. Asking captors to be nice to you isn’t a viable strategy.

So this is all theater unless and until she can be replaced. Manchin too.

I find that 100% believable. Delusions of grandeur. The attention-seeking, inappropriate way she dresses is a strong clue. Also she sells out any point of view if a corporate donor wants her to. No core values as far as I can tell.
I think of all the hardworking people who would be great in Congress as Democratic leaders..how do we get people like this???
