I don't see how anyone could dislike this man. He's putting everything he's got into it.

Nancy is so gung ho. She is so dialed in I can see a million threads of understanding radiate from her sunshine. She and Kamala make me feel proud.

Switched over to local Fox station carrying the main Fox feed. They were doing everything they could to knife Biden. It was a very elaborate dance, but the effort to continue to tear down American unity was obvious.

Gov. Kim Reynolds says Biden makes us weak at home. Her speech sounds like Putin wrote it.

I have a small number of conservative relatives on Facebook and I can tell you that they're exasperated by his speech but mostly failed to complain about anything in particular. I'm tempted to ask if they want the sort of Putin butt kissing the former pres would have offered.

The senior senator from Kentucky has got to be one of the ugliest senators in office. I know, we are not supposed to judge appearances, but goodness gracious!

Republicans didn’t boo; Democrats booed Boebert’s ill-timed outburst. She tried to do a Joe Wilson.

Biden was talking about chemical burn pits and coffins (and of Beau) and Boebert shouted that he put them in those coffins (a reference to Afghanistan deaths, despite the fact Biden wasn’t talking about Afghanistan nor of combat deaths.)

The imbecilic and appealing behavior continues.

Pfft, small timer. Putin's salary is $120K and he's among the richest men on the planet. Maybe Kim should lay off the avocado toast.

Kim struck me as a bit of a nut job / Karen. I noticed that during her speech, especially toward the beginning, she kept glancing way off to the side.

Also, when she kept bringing up "parents' rights", I thought to myself-- you can't just say that parents should dictate everything that's taught in schools ... even if it were a legitimate view (which it isn't), it's just not feasible. Here's a good explanation of why:

They need to chase the fear narrative there because they have no answer whatsoever about why professionals should not specialize in education, due to critical thinking not being part of what they want in the Party.

Yes, it's histrionics, but... I can't imagine ANYONE wanting to become a teacher under these conditions. Between the crappy pay, corona issues, student disrespect/misbehavior, parental overreach, etc., why would anyone want to do this?
