Senators call for a common charger standard in the US

while I certainly agree, a common port/plug would be lovely (not convinced USB C is the best choice) this is what they are wringing their collective hand over?

we are in deep doo doo.

perhaps the ECA (formerly EIA) could take the pressure off so send-it-ors could get back to doing the "real" work.

Rumour has it the next big "standard" they are working on is the size, tension, thickness, perforations, softness, and durability of toilet paper.
"one sheet or 2?"
