War in Europe, Afghanistan taken by the Taliban, open US borders, record inflation, Iran and North Korea developing nuclear weapons, now overturning of Roe vs. Wade.

Did anyone guess Joe would be this bad?

Most here won't deny that they would've ever thought the US could become this bad, but most here with any sense also know exactly how that came to pass.

Congratulations on being only the second person ever whom I put on ignore in this forum.

Collapse of the Republican Party
Imprisonment of ex President Trump and his co-conspirators
Impeachment of four Supreme Court justices

Wingnut talking point - actually a return to normal border policies. Meanwhile, businesses all over the US can’t find workers to fill jobs that these refugees would take in a heartbeat.

I guess we have different ideas on "Mess things up".
I consider a thriving economy, middle east peace agreements, support for LGBQT and minorities under Trump positive results. Even making animal abuse a federal crime. Of course keeping Iran, North Korea and Russia in check were all positive in my book, although clearly the left needs war to fuel cash flow

What's not "thriving" about a record-low unemployment rate in 17 states? Or a record 8 million jobs created since January 2021? Or a first-year GDP growth rate of 5.7%?

Remember when Trump was going to "unleash the economy" for 4, 5 or 6% GDP growth? He never exceeded 3.3%, considerably less than the 4% Obama had in '15. And Trump's average?

Worst since Hoover:

Woo! Thriving!

...and "keeping Iran, North Korea and Russia in check"? Srsly?

I think you could use some reality-based news sources for a change of pace.

Yea, COVID is Trumps fault. Like when he blocked travel from China early and Democrats called the move racist.

COVID killed 500,000 Americans during Trumps last year, and 600,000 more during Biden's first year, even though Biden had Trumps vaccine.

A vaccine that Trump's voters refused to take. He rode the populist wave of skepticism over government actions about shut downs and masking, but then it infected those voters' attitudes toward the vaccine.

Took Trump THREE MONTHS to say that? He didn't say it in January because he was too preoccupied with...something else? You know he was booed at his rally when he said he got his booster. The man squandered the bully pulpit on election lies.

Actually, it was a White House tweet, not Biden, which made that claim (once, in May of 2021) but was corrected the next day to “We should have said vaccines were not widely available” [when he took office], which was true.
