I'm really beginning to worry about her appeal to the center. Could she win it all in 24?

When someone say 'She's doing a great job in the Special Committee, someone else pipes up with some vacation of 'Yeah but she's a REPUBLICAN!' and other diatribe that tends to imply that what she's doing counts for nothing.

I doubt it's lost on her that her political career is circling the drain, and to that end, she knew the job was dangerous when she took it.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. She would probably be good at it. And in addition to that, she could find a niche on TV as a legal analyst. It would be a nice change from being a politician in this bleak time.
