Graham’s speech reminds me of Enoch Powell’s “Rivers of Blood” speech in England the month I was born. Powell argued that, unless the influx of brown people into the country were restricted, the streets of England would turn into rivers of blood. Racists seemed to take it as permission to make it so. In the setting of a Trump conviction, Trump’s band of merry fascists could, also.

Powell’s career declined after that statement.
Let’s hope Graham’s does, too.

Makes me wonder what Trump has on Graham...it must be pretty good.

Wonder if it was in the stacks of papers the FBI took? AND I wonder if they looked over the boxes with that in mind?

Well, Lindsey is a odd fellow. But personally, I don’t think Trump is blackmailing him - I think Graham did a 180 from a never-Trumper to Don’s biggest defender because he was just following the politics of the GOP base.
